Action against Bullying
IT IS BULLYING IF SOMEONE CONTINUALLY:-
- Threatens
you
- Calls
you names
- Hurts
you
- Damages
your possessions
- Spreads
rumours about you
- Uses
text, email, or social media to say hurtful things
- Say
hurtful things about your ethnic background, religion, gender, sexuality,
disability, special educational need, appearance or specific issues in your
family
Amery hill school does not tolerate bullying. We will:-
- Make
sure that the person being bullied is safe
- Work
to stop it happening again
- Provide
support to the person being bullied
What should you do?
Talk to someone you trust and get them to help you take the right steps to stop the bullying. When you are talking to an adult be clear about:-
- What
has happened to you
- How
often it has happened
- Who
was involved
- Who
saw what was happening
- Where
and when it happened
- What
you have done about it already
- What
evidence you can share in the form of screen shots if needs be
