Action against Bullying

IT IS BULLYING IF SOMEONE CONTINUALLY:-

  • Threatens you
  • Calls you names
  • Hurts you
  • Damages your possessions
  • Spreads rumours about you
  • Uses text, email, or social media to say hurtful things
  • Say hurtful things about your ethnic background, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, special educational need, appearance or specific issues in your family

Amery hill school does not tolerate bullying. We will:-

  • Make sure that the person being bullied is safe
  • Work to stop it happening again
  • Provide support to the person being bullied

What should you do?

Talk to someone you trust and get them to help you take the right steps to stop the bullying. When you are talking to an adult be clear about:-

  • What has happened to you
  • How often it has happened
  • Who was involved
  • Who saw what was happening
  • Where and when it happened
  • What you have done about it already
  • What evidence you can share in the form of screen shots if needs be
